Fire Department

The mission of the Elkins Fire Department (EFD) is to provide emergency and nonemergency services for the citizens entrusted to our care. We operate a range of programs to safeguard the lives and property of the inhabitants of our jurisdiction from fires and other dangerous conditions, whether natural or man-made. We also strive to prevent emergencies through safety education programs and code enforcement.

All department personnel are proud to serve with honor and integrity, treating everyone we encounter with fairness and respect. As a team, we never stop in the pursuit of excellence in all that we do.
