City Hall News: Week of April 4, 2022
Meeting this week are council’s Finance Committee and the Elkins Tree Board. Council meets Thursday.
The Finance Committee meets Monday at 10 a.m. to review requested FY 2022 budget revisions and grant opportunities for the Elkins Fire Department.
The Tree Board meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Agenda items include planning for a project at Bluegrass Park, discussion of budget priorities for the remainder of the current fiscal year, budget planning for the next fiscal year, and purchase of t-shirts for volunteer events.
Council meets Thursday at 7 p.m. The agenda may be adjusted through Tuesday. Current agenda items include changes to personnel policies and the compensation and classification plan, the reappointment of the city attorney to a one-year term, Davis Health System’s request for an endorsement letter in support of its application for a special ABCA permit, and consideration of spending recommendations from the ARPA Advisory Committee. There will also be a presentation from Chris Lee, the manager of the Phil Gainer Community Center.
