City Hall News: Week of August 1, 2022

There are no council, committee, board, or commission meetings this week. Overdue utility accounts must be brought up to date by Thursday to avoid shutoff.

Multiple city officials and staff members will attend the annual conference of the West Virginia Municipal League (WVML) Wednesday-Friday in Morgantown. The municipal league is an advocacy organization for West Virginia cities, and its conferences feature educational presentations on new laws and issues affecting the state’s cities.
